Acne and stress
We all know that in times of exams or when our nights are shortened, our complexion is more blurred and we have more inflammatory lesions. The involvement of stress in the onset of acne seems to be linked to the presence of neuroreceptors on the sebaceous gland. Under stress, nerve endings near the sebaceous glands release neuropeptides such as substance P, which increase sebum production. Stress hormones are also involved, such as CRH (corticotrophin-releasing hormone), which is also released during overwork and sleep deprivation....
So to have a beautiful skin, relax and sleep!
